“You know what kills me? The fact that the whips and chains are still here!! They are just represented in the form of Cars and Gold Necklaces instead
Of the actual bull whips, and chains that used to beat and shackle us!!!”-Jack Napier
I have been asked to submit this written commentary explaining the key issues I believe to be responsible for a major part of the decline of rap music.
From its once socially pertinent message-fueled politically-concerned content that it once used to represent. The rap music that now exists is an exploited corporate America brand of music materialism that has misled the masses: particularly its own fans.
In this article, I will attempt to theorize, through historical reference, and fact, why it is that I feel that the two key issues of slavery and corporate American greed alongside its lust for social and mental control of the masses, are directly related and responsible for the dark robotic mindless content and condition of rap music.
The First aspect which I feel should be addressed are the effects that the slave trade has had on influencing the direction of rap music today. I reference this due to the blatant fact that approximately 85% of rap music that is produced, performed, and written predominately by persons of African decent. The astonishing number of these African descendants (slaves) were taken from their native continent (Africa) and sold for labor and profit throughout the world.
This fact should, especially for the educated and logical, increase the plausibility that, at the least 85% of rap music artists today are most likely the great, great, great-grandchildren of slaves.
Now, if one knows anything about the internal consequences that Africans faced during the actual slave trade, (quick refresher course) – [things such as the rape of our identity, our cultural standards, moral values, family units and most of all, our numerous dialects and native languages] they know that it has basically destroyed blacks that are living in America and on the planet in general.
Breaking it down in more pedestrian terms for the lament goyim gentry…
African descendants that reside on the planet Earth (in America),
have always had to see the world and behave in the eyes and through the eyes of the slave master and plantation owner that enslaved them. Today, the slave masters (for the importance of this article) are in my theory, representatives/designated persons which are employed by the record labels, media, and worldwide governments, who are solely designated and responsible for helping maintain the economic, mental control and growth of people and music here in America as well as worldwide.
Readers please believe this: Music is the international language, period.
Thus, rap music's mindless dribble and decline in pertinent messages and socially conscious content can be attributed to two key issues:
1. Corporate American as well as media exploitation of the Hip-Hop culture through Rap music.

I would love to hear a better theory or argument than that. Get back@ (see below).
Personal note to the reader;
-Rap music artists today, I implore you to please realize the duty that you have to yourselves, the hip-hop movement, rap music and the human race (black people especially) with the gift of music. Represent the movement properly please. Hip-Hop is our only way of getting some type of revenge for the systematic injustice that we all have faced from the master planners-don't ruin it!!
2. The effects of the slave trade and its effects on the black population of the world.
